Delivery Methods
A few tips to keep in mind when preparing for your container delivery:
- The site should be fairly level and firm.
- There should be a minimum of 10 ft. width and 20ft. or 40ft. length for the container.
- Make sure the prepared site is on gravel, cement, pavement, grass or dirt surface. If the container will be placed on grass or a dirt surface, the container should be set on blocking.
- Make sure there are no low hanging power lines or branches.
The 20' containers are delivered with a pick up truck and tilt bed trailer, or a straight truck with tilt bed trailer for tighter areas. A pick up truck and trailer requires 80ft of straight away area. A Straight truck and trailer requires about 65ft.
40ft containers are delivered with a pick up truck and tilt bed trailer or a straight truck with a tilt bed for spaces that can’t accommodate a pick up and trailer. A pick up truck and trailer requires 115ft of straight away area. A Straight truck and trailer requires about 95ft.
